Sveba Dahlen was founded in 1948 and has a market leading position within professional high-quality baking ovens and baking equipment in Northern Europe. The company sells its products under three premium brands, Sveba Dahlen, Glimek and Bear.

Teddy 5L sales to retail consumers

The TEDDY 5L has always had a great potential on the private household market. To pursue this potential, we teamed up with a Danish retail specialist, Experisense, four years ago. Today every fifth TEDDY that we produce, finds a private household in Denmark. Experisense has just opened a “touch and taste” showroom called Spinchy in central Copenhagen. Now customers can walk in from the street and experience the TEDDY 5L at first hand. The showroom Teddys are plugged in and ingredients are available for testing, so you can fully appreciate the ingenious design of the mixer.

Sveba Dahlen Group has restructured the operations in China and Hong Kong creating new possibilities for the future

Sveba Dahlen Group has sold the sales subsidiary in China, Sveba Dahlen Food Equipment (Shenzhen) Co Limited. The new company structure will continue to operate in China as a strong dealer of the brands Sveba Dahlen, Glimek and Bear and has also taken over the existing customer relations and warranties. The company will be run by Mr. Kevin Shu, who has been the Sales Director for the past 3 years.

World record baguette baked in a Sveba Dahlen oven

The world record attempt was held in Erpe-Mere in Belgium by Kroonbaker and the goal was to bake a 133 meter long baguette, the old world record was done in Italy and measured 122 meters.

With the help of a TP oven the record was crushed and the new record was noted at 133,3 meters.

The little BEAR at the design museum

TEDDY – the small BEAR table top mixer with a capacity of 5 litres – has been selected to join the new permanent exhibition of the most innovative, attractive and surprising designs of the 21st century on display at Designmuseum Danmark.

TEDDY entered the world in 2003. The task presented to designer Henrik Jeppesen and his colleagues had been to design a professional food mixer whose functionality and quality could win the battle against the small retail mixers and take the number two machine spot at bakeries and restaurants worldwide.

Sveba-Dahlen enters a distributor agreement in Denmark with the well-established brand bago-line

Sveba-Dahlen continues to invest in Denmark and is now entering a partnership with bago-line, which will be responsible for sales of our product range in the Danish bakery market. bago-line is a well-established player that sells its own rack ovens and a broad range of agent products and fittings. The company has its own extensive service organization for the Danish market.

Niclas Lundevall is the winner of the Swedish Championship in pizza 2016.

It was Niclas Lundevall from Fredrik Eriksson Asplund restaurant in Solna who won the Pizza Championship in 2016. It was an exciting competition where the jury praised Niclas Lundvall's "cod pizza" in modern fast food version.

Niclas Lundevall is a chef at the restaurant Asplund in Solna, where he has worked since the restaurant opened 1,5 years ago.

- It was my restaurant manager Susanna Skogh and restaurateur Fredrik Eriksson, who signed me up without me knowing it. I was close to applying last year but never did so it was fun that they did the application for me!

The winner of "Årets Bagare 2016" (The Baker of the Year)

During three days the finalists showed their knowledge, creativity and craftsmanship and at the end Kim Lund from Bageri Brillo in Stockholm stod as the winner with the motivation from the jury "with an impressive craftmanship and technical creativity at the highest level. The combination of pure flavors and beautiful creations made it easy for the jury to appoint Sweden's best baker".

We at Sveba-Dahlen would like to congratulate Kim and wish her all the best in her future endevours.
